Introduction
I am currently a junior at the University of California Santa Barbara studying Mechanical Engineering. As I continue to progress through my university journey, my passion for engineering continues to grow day by day. In my free time, I love to have passion projects that allow me to get more experience with design and creation. This portfolio is something that I started to share the passion that I have for engineering through documenting my progress with these passion projects.
I enjoy experimenting with electronics, exploring coding, and, most importantly, acquiring new engineering skills. I’m highly driven to independently learn or teach myself the necessary skills for both personal and professional projects, particularly those with ambitious and challenging objectives that interest me.
Feel free to explore the tabs above to see my various projects and engagements! Additionally, you can click on the photos below to dive deeper into each section. For further details about my past experiences my resume is available under the "My Experience" tab.
Key skills and experience
I have a plethora of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering as I am always looking for opportunities to improve my skills and further my career. Outside of my field of study I also take lessons that I learn from other extracurriculars and apply them to help me problem-solve and collaborate with others.
Coding
I am proficient in Matlab as well as C++ and I am currently learning Python and Java. I understand the importance of familiarizing myself with these programs, as even though they are not the primary study of my major there is still a huge need to utilize them in the workforce.
CAD
When I first took a CAD course in high school, I immediately fell in love with designing things. Since then, I have had plentiful experience with Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Inventor. This is because I utilize them extensively for all of my passion projects.
Integration APIs
I have learned to to utilize both desktop and mobile API's through my experiences with ServiceNow. Putting this skill together with another set of programs that I am proficient in, the Microsoft Office Suite, I am able to do quite a lot of data collection and analysis.
Problem Solving
Understanding the need for collaboration when it comes to problem solving is something that I take pride in. As a three sport althlete for a majority of my life, I understand the dynamics of a team well. This allows me to effectively work with others and split tasks effectively to ensure efficiency and success in any task.
